Project Overview

I’ve worked with 10+ restaurants across the U.S. and Canada, delivering creative that’s both visually sharp and tailored to the food industry. These projects covered everything from digital menus and brand identities to fully designed web pages and social content.

Each restaurant had its own style — from Afghan kababs to Thai street food — and I made sure the design reflected that. The goal wasn’t just to make things look good, but to help these businesses communicate better, convert more visitors, and build stronger brands online and in-store.

The Strategy

1. Understand the Brand & Cuisine

  • Researched the restaurant’s target audience, location, and cuisine style
  • Studied existing branding or built from scratch based on mood, color, and cultural cues
  • Identified the right visual tone (modern, traditional, playful, etc.)

2. Visual Content Planning

  • Defined what each brand needed: logo, menu design, web layout, or social media posts
  • Created a consistent visual direction for colors, typography, and layout
  • Developed reusable templates for quick turnarounds (especially for social content)

3. Design & Delivery

  • Built screen menus optimized for readability and visual impact
  • Designed responsive webpage mockups focused on user flow and menu visibility
  • Produced high-quality social posts for promotions, holidays, and daily specials
  • Delivered logo variations and brand assets in web + print formats

4. Feedback & Iteration

  • Took feedback directly from marketing teams
  • Made fast revisions to meet real-world needs (e.g., menu price updates, seasonal items)
  • Ensured final designs were easy for clients to use across platforms

Conclusion & Achievements

Working with these restaurants gave me the chance to combine fast-paced creative work with real-world impact. From mom-and-pop shops to fast-casual chains, each project demanded quick thinking, strong visuals, and an understanding of what gets people to stop scrolling—or start ordering.
